We are sharing the sweetest card design by our good friend, Dana Kirby. It is full of bright, cheerful flowers made using the Sweet Bee collection by Concord & 9th. It even has a couple of bees to complete this floral picture.
Hi friends! It’s Dana here today and I am back with a card that uses the Sweet Bee set from Concord & 9th. The Sweet Bee set is a stamp, stencil, and dies set that all coordinates together to make the most adorable card!!
I started my card by using the Sweet Bee stencil pack to make my card panel. This set includes five stencils that layer together to make the most adorable floral pattern. I used Concord & 9th ink for my blending… I am so excited that you can now get Concord & 9th ink in the Foiled Fox online shop!! It has become my favorite ink, the quality, and colors are amazing!
Here are the colors that I used:
Stencil 1: Sprout and Parsley
Stencil 2: Honeysuckle and Buttercup
Stencil 3: Aqua Sky and Marmalade
Stencil 4: Marmalade, Oceanside, and Poppy
Stencil 5: Distress Oxide ink in Black Soot
Next, I used the Sweet Bee stamp set and VersaMark ink to stamp my sentiment onto a black cardstock square. I then heat set the sentiment with white embossing powder. I used the Sweet Bee dies and stencils to create a few florals to use as accents around my sentiment square. The floral dies coordinate perfectly with the stenciled panel, giving you so many more options for layouts and designs. I attached the florals and sentiment square to my card panel with foam adhesive. Lastly, I used the Sweet Bee die and stamp set to create the bees to finish off my card.
