Hi Creative Friends,
Pretty Pink Posh has brand-new stamps and dies that are just adorable. I love birds so I chose the A Little Birdie and Spring Birdhouses sets. They are just the cutest! Here is a card design using both of them.
I was in the mood for coloring and these sets are perfect for that! So I started by inking all the goodies (minus the sentiments) from both sets with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink, then stamping them all onto Neenah 80lb. paper. From there, I used a variety of Copic markers to color them.
Once all were colored, I cut them out using the coordinating die sets, then set them aside.
Next, using another Neenah 80lb. panel (4″ x 8″), I randomly blended on Bundled Sage and Worn Lipstick. When done, I sprinkled it with water and blotted off the water. Then, I smooched a patch of Bundled Sage and a patch of Worn Lipstick on my glass mat, loosened them with water, and splattered tiny droplets of each, then let it dry.
When the panel was dry, I mounted it onto an 8. 25″ x 4.25″ 100lb. white cardstock card base.
Now it was just a matter of arranging and attaching all the elements to the front of the card base using foam squares.
My final step was to stamp the sentiment using Versafine Black Onyx ink.
And there we have it a cutie-patootie card to brighten someone’s day! ♥
