Bunny Kisses
Hi Creative Friends,
I see Easter bunnies hopping out everywhere, so I thought I would join the excitement by making a fun-filled Easter card. Hero Arts has a bunch of festive stamp and die sets that were perfect for the job!

I chose the Peeking Bunny for my main character. He was just too cute to pass up. I started by cutting out all the pieces from this set. Then, using a few alcohol markers, I colored the face, hat, scarf, and little bunny paws.
Next was the fence. I used the Wood Fence die by Hero Arts and white cardstock, then very lightly swiped Fine Linen ink over the top and set it aside.
The background panel was next. I used the Nested Postage dies by Spellbinders and Aqua Sky Bitty Big paper, then adhered it to an A2-sized white card base. The next layer was the plaid panel. I used white cardstock, the Papertrey Ink Watercolor Plaid stencil set, and a few distress inks (Tumbled Glass, Twisted Citron, Scattered Straw, and Picked Raspberry). It was backed with foam and added to the front of the card.

The fence and bunny were added next, along with green foliage cut from green cardstock using the Hero Arts Butterfly Foliage dies. I also cut out a few flowers and a butterfly.
Something was missing… oh yeah…I needed a few Easter eggs. I cut them out and decorated them with a few alcohol markers.
All that was left was to assemble and stamp by sentiment. The Hero Arts Spring Bunny set is chock-full of Easter goodies and sentiments. I picked one from there and stamped it with Versafine Black Onyx ink.

After arranging all the pieces, I used squares to add them to the front. The sentiment was the last addition to complete the card.
I hope this project sparked your imagination and will give this super cut stamps and dies a try! ♥
