Frosty Wishes
Hi Creative Friends,
Today I am sharing a sweet holiday card, featuring a frosty snowman and his tweeting friend from the Frosty Feathers stamp and die set by Penny Black. This set has two festive snowmen and little birdies, so you can decide which you like the best… or make them both. They are each super cute!

I started with the main focal point, which, of course, was the snowman. He, and his birdie friend (found in the other stamp included) were stamped onto white cardstock using an alcohol marker-friendly ink like Memento Tuxedo Black.
I used a few alcohol markers to color him and his friend. I also stamped one of the twiggy arms of the snowman separately and colored it. Each of these elements was cut out using the matching die, except the birdie and twig needed a little extra fussy cutting.
For the snowman’s background, I cut some ‘snow banks’ using a wave die set (see supply list) and another smaller panel. To the panel and ‘snowbanks’, I blended on a tiny bit of Oceanside blue ink using an ink dauber. The corners were rounded on the panel with a chomper, and a dashed line was added freehand.

The ‘snowbanks’ were stacked and glued onto the panel, and the sentiment from the Pretty Pink Posh Penguin Pals set was stamped in Nocturne black ink.
I embossed a panel using the Spellbinders Sparkling Snow embossing folder and added it to a white cardstock card base, then added the assembled snowbank panel.
To complete the card, my little snowman and his birdie friend were added using foam squares.

I hope you enjoyed this fun and festive card design. Give it a whirl, it is loads of fun! ♥
