It’s Snowflake Season
Hi Cardmaking Friends,
I have a new holiday project for you guys today. It features Kristina Werner’s new Snowflake Season dies. This set has oodles of snowflakes to brighten any snowy winter day. For those of us who live in more moderate climates, this set is perfect for dreaming of a white Christmas.

This card design uses only a few supplies and is easy to make. It is also well-suited for mass production, so let’s get started.
Beginning with the background, I used a 5×7 piece of Bristol paper to ink blend Peacock Feathers, Chipped Sapphire, and a dash of Villainous Potion. I used the new Waffle Flower background blenders. They are awesome!
With the background set aside to dry, I chose two large snowflakes and cut out 3 of each snowflake from the Snowflake Season die set. Then, I stacked and glued them together. I also cut out 4 bows from the Gift Bow set (see supply list below), then glued and stacked one on top of the other.

The sentiment was next. I used the Joyful and Merry die set by Kristina Werner and cut out Joyful from gold foil paper and the shadow from white cardstock.
The snowfalkes, strings, and bows were mounted to the card front, along with the sentiment. To finish, I added a few glittery dots for extra sparkle.

I hope you enjoyed this simple but festive card design. Let me know what you think. ♥
