Ready For Success
Hi Creative Friends,
I don’t know about you, but I’m behind in sending out big congrats to the people in my life who are ready for the next phase in their lives. This year, I have a bunch, so in case you’re in the same boat, here’s a graduation card using the new Papertrey Framed In Success.

The Framed for Success stamp and die set is a perfect set for graduation projects. It has loads of fun pieces that make it easy to create a ton of different graduation projects. I particularly liked the diploma and graduation cap. After all, that’s what it is about, isn’t it?
This card is for my grandnephew, and his school colors were black, red, and white. So, I started there with an A2 black cardstock card base and a matching panel. Next, I cut out a bunch of pieces from the die set, including a red cap, white diploma, and two white cardstock frames. I added a splash of gold by cutting out the year’s numbers, and a diploma bow using gold foil paper.
There are two tiny star clusters in the stamp set. Using the stamps, I stamped stars halfway up on the black panel using Versamark ink, then heat-embossed with gold embossing powder (don’t forget to prep the panel first by liberally applying anti-static powder). The panel was then added to the card base front.

Next were the white frames. I sandwiched the two together with glue, then added a black cardstock backing and heat embossed the sentiment from the matching stamp set. When finished, I added a black foam back (to pop it up), then applied the whole assembly to the card front.
The red graduation cap was assembled and applied to the front of the card with black foam, along with the diploma and bow.

Adding the “2025” gold letters was the last step to finish the card.
And there we have it… one graduation card down and two to go!
I hope you enjoyed today’s project, and if you have a graduate in your sphere, don’t forget this set. It is definitely a winner! ♥
