Simply the Zest!
Hi everyone!
I’m JB and I am excited to be here with you today on the Foiled Fox blog. I am sharing a card made with Main Squeeze stamp set, along with Life’s Lemons Stencil and Love to Layer: Scalloped Diamonds. All by Papertrey Ink.

I started with my background, using Bristol Smooth Cardstock, distress oxide inks, and the Life’s Lemons Stencil.
Then I went on to use the Main Squeeze stamps with the same ink colors, using the technique of pouncing ink with a brush, I misted it with water to try and achieve that depression glass look for the pitcher and glass. I also used the same technique on the leaves, but used straight oxide ink for the lemon and slices.
After die-cutting my stamped images, I arranged my elements, then used a piece of “Seal and Press” to hold the arrangement together and set it
aside for now. This stamp set is fantastic!

Colors used:
Squeezed lemonade oxide
Mustard Seed distress ink (darken the lemonade, lemon slices, and lemon)
Dusty Concord oxide
Villainous Potion (stencil for flowers)
Peeled Paint oxide
Rustic Wilderness oxide
Tumbled Glass oxide (ice cubes)
Moving on to the panel to separate my stencil and arrangement, I picked the Scalloped Diamonds, the largest one. I wanted to add a little shimmer to it, so I added embossing powder to the edges and then used a clear pigment pad to gently apply it, followed by the addition of gold embossing powder.
Using a strip of Bristol cardstock, I colored it with Dusty Concord oxide ink, then gold-embossed the sentiment.

I used a tape runner to attach everything to Neenah 110lb base cardstock. I used foam squares for the sliced lemon on the pitcher and the sentiment. I finished with some light yellow embellishments from my stash and added Wink of Stella clear on the lemon slices.
I hope you enjoy my card! It is always a pleasure to be here! Please visit IG @foiledfox for more inspiration and shop www.foiledfox.com. You can find me at @inkblissbyjb
