Hi Creative Friends,
I am excited to share our latest video featuring the beautiful Sun-Kissed stamp by Penny Black, along with the new sentiment builders from Penny Black too.
As you know, Penny Black is the queen of floral stamps and this one is so delightful. You can use it in a variety of ways. In today’s video, I am demonstrating two ways to use it. Take a look.
I am in love with all the new stamps and dies from Penny Black but this one really stood out for me. Here is a step-by-step video.
Now that you have had a chance to view the video, let’s take a look at a few close-ups, starting with the lovely pink version.
This one used a variety of distress inks for the color. I started with Saltwater Taffy and used Abandoned Coral, Festive Berries, and Wild Honey as well. For the greens, I used Crushed Olive and Peeled Paint, or you can always use a few water-based pens like Tombow markers. For your convenience, I have included everything in the supply list below, including the regular-sized distress ink pads and the minis in the same colors. That way, you can choose which ink pad size works best for you!
The sentiment is from the Friend Builder stamp set, again by Penny Black. You can create so much different sentiments with this little set! The sentiment was stamped with Versaclair Shady Lane ink.
Next up is the vintage-y, golden-yellow version. This card design is stamped in portrait mode (longer from top to bottom). The background was colored with Antique Linen and Brushed Corduroy distress inks.
For the flowers, I used Scattered Straw, Wild Honey, and a dash of Worn Lipstick. The green Tombow pens were used for the stems.
I completed the card with a sentiment from the Delightful Day stamp set… and you guessed it, it is a Penny Black set too. But all the supplies are listed below.
I hope you enjoyed this project and the video. It is always a pleasure to hear from you so please let me know what colors and version you liked best!
That’s it for now… I hope to see you next time! ♥
