Hey Pumpkin!

Hey Pumpkin!

Hi Creative Friends,

Again, we are sharing an wonderful card design by JB (@inkblissbyjb). She has combined the Pretty Pink Posh Pumpkin Cover Plate with their Layered Foliage stencil to create a stunning Autumn card!

Hello everyone!  I’m happy to be back again with Foiled Fox to share a card made with pumpkin cover plate, layered foliage stencil, sentiment strips Halloween, all by Pretty Pink Posh.

I love fall, and all the glorious colors that come with it. But I got some inspiration from a local retail store, seeing all the blue and cream pumpkins out, so I thought I’d try something different.

I started with an A2 size Bristol smooth card stock and die cut the cover plate.  I ink blended three of the pumpkins with distress oxide Speckled Egg, and Faded Jeans. The other three I ink blended with Antique Linen, Frayed Burlap on the edges and went back in with a shader blender from waffle flower to create some lines and shading .  I die cut 2 extra pumpkins with the dots so they were intact and rubbed Luster wax gold from Sissix and let dry.

For the panel, I took the stencil 1  and ink blended with antique linen and frayed burlap on the edges. Then I went in with a shader brush using Faded Jeans just lightly on the tips. Then, using stencil 2, I lightly ink blended the stems with frayed burlap.

Using the Halloween sentiments, I embossed  a sentiment using a gilded gold embossing powder.  Then, I attached my finished panel to a Neenah 110lb white card stock card base and glued the pumpkins along with the Luster waxed dots. Don’t be afraid to move your pumpkins around, I moved two.

A few little Autumn/Halloween icon-like dies come with the cover plate. I used the little pumpkin and added it below the sentiment,

Card finished and I just love the colors!  Hope you do too!

Thank you for your time and happy crafting!

JB
