We are starting out the week with two beautiful and cheery card designs by our lovely friend, Dana Kirby. She is wonderful! She always shares delightful card designs. The two she is sharing today were created using the new stamp and die set Blooms For You by Concord & 9th. And as always, she has chosen just the perfect color scheme, don’t you think?
Hi friends! It’s Dana here today and I am back with two cards that use the Blooms For You set from Concord & 9th.
I started my card by using the Blooms For You stamp set to do all of my stamping on my card panel. I used Concord & 9th ink in Poppy, Buttercup, Parsley, Harbor, and Blueberry. Once my floral clusters were finished I used the Blooms For You die set to stamp and die-cut the larger floral images with poppy ink. I then popped the flowers up with foam adhesive for a little added dimension.
To finish my card I stamped my sentiment onto my card panel with Harbor and Blueberry ink. Although I created a thank you card, I love that you can create a celebrate you or I love you card with this set too! Lastly, I trimmed my panel down and attached it to a Blueberry cardstock mat before attaching it to an A2 card base.
For my next card, I used the Blooms For You die set to create my sentiment. I die-cut the thank you from Poppy and Blueberry cardstock and then attached them to my card panel. Next, I again used the Blooms for You stamp and die set to create my floral cluster. I love that the individual flowers and foliage are included in the set to give you more options. I then used my scoring board to add score lines on my card panel for a little added interest. Lastly, I attached my panel to my card base to finish my card.
