I have another video for you showing you how to make dynamic backgrounds for the perfect backdrop to your main characters. I was inspiring by Rachel Alvarado. She creates awesome backgrounds! Here is my own version of her technique.
I am using the adorable Birthday Wishing stamp set by Colorado Craft Company, a few distress oxide inks, and Copic markers for this colorful card design.

I have stamped the charming characters from the stamp set, created masks, and then used distress oxide inks for the beautiful blues. Different colors of splatters were used to create a colorful and interesting background.
The critters were colored with a few Copic markers and the sentiment was from the same stamp set.
I just love the way this bright background puts pizazz in the card design and what’s even better, is that it is a snap to create.
