Hi Creative Friends,
Dana Kirby is sharing an adorable card design with us today. This beach-themed card is sooo cute, full of color, and easy to make. It is a marvel how Dana combines her colors and elements to make an awesome card! To see more of her talent, check out her blog.
Hi friends! It’s Dana here today with a fun summer-themed birthday card to share with you all.
I started my card by making my card panel. I used the MFT Stamps Cloud Stencil and Blueberry Sky ink to create my sky. I then ink blended Classic Kraft ink onto a piece of white cardstock. I die-cut the top of the panel with the Simple Stitched Hillside die and then stamped my sentiment with the MFT Stamps Life’s A Beach stamp set.
Now comes the fun part… building my beach scene. I used the MFT Stamps Beach Bungalow die set along with the Shady Palm dies to create my beach hut and palm tree. These dies are so fun and easy to use. There really are so many possibilities and I love how you can create a more involved card or something quick and easy too. Once everything was assembled I attached my hut and palm tree to my background with foam adhesive and finished my card.
Thanks for joining me today and I hope you enjoyed my card. I hope to be back soon to share another project with you all.
