Hi Creative Friends,
Dana Kirby is our guest today and we couldn’t be more excited! Dana is a super talented lady and our good friend so it is always a pleasure to welcome her to our blog!
Dana has created a delightful Happy Spring card design using some of Lawn Fawn’s latest uber-cute stamp and die sets. Let’s see how she made it!
Hi friends!
It’s Dana here today with another card that uses the adorable Berry Special set from Lawn Fawn.
I started my card by making my card panel with the Spring Blossoms Background Stencils. I used Papertrey Ink in New Leaf, Bright Buttercup, and Orange Zest for my blending.
Next, I used the Giant Happy Spring die to create my sentiment. I ran the die through my die cutting machine with New Leaf and white cardstock. I stacked the white cuts together to give the sentiment some dimension and ink blended the top layer with Pure Poppy ink. I then attached the layers to the New Leaf die-cut to create a shadow.
I stamped my images from the Berry Special stamp set with Memento black ink and colored the images with Copic markers. I used a white gel pen to add a few highlights and then used the coordinating Berry Special dies to cut everything out. To finish my card I used foam adhesive and liquid glue to attach my sentiment and images to the card panel.
Thanks for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed my card and I will be back soon with another project to share with you all.
Enjoy your day,
Dana
