Lawn Fawn’s Little Fox Is Jumping For Joy with Rosali

Hi Crafty Friends,

We are sharing the most adorable Autumn card from Rosali of I Love Stamping blog. Rosali cleverly has added a fox to this cute scene – one of our favorite woodland animals, of course! The peek-a-boo window is bursting with color and merriment!

This is just one of Rosali’s delightful creations. You can count on Rosali creating fun and loveable card designs. We look so forward to her posts, we know you will too. And, for more, check out her blog!

Hi there! Has fall arrived in your little corner of the world? Here in Northern Germany, it definitely has … Leaves are turning yellow, orange and red, it’s windy and the nights are getting quite cold! So it’s time to bring fall to our crafty table as well, don’t you think?

I still love last year’s “Jump For Joy” stamp set from Lawn Fawn with its cute critters and a combination of different fonts and sizes for the sentiments. So I pulled it out again and thought I would combine it with some very new Lawn Fawn products – the Reverse Stitched Scalloped Circle Windows and also the Reveal Wheel Fall Leaf die set. Because, you can use this add-on it not only together with the Reveal Wheel but on other cards, too! I am gonna show one possibility for that. 🙂

Here are the steps to create the card:

  1. Stamp the pile of leaves from “Jump For Joy” four times in a circle arrangement onto watercolor cardstock using Versamark Ink and heat emboss it with clear embossing powder.
  2. Add water to the panel with a paintbrush and then let inks in fall colors drop into the wet area. I am gonna link to all colors of Distress Inks that I used down below. Let the first layer dry (they dry back less intense) and add some more ink, splatters and maybe additional colors to get more vibrant colors and texture. Glue the piece down onto your card base.
  3. Die cut the Reveal Wheel Fall Leaf two times from watercolor cardstock. Paint the inner leaves with a little bit of Pine Needles Distress Ink so that you get a color gradient. Glue the now blueish green leaves onto the watercolor background and the white leaf “frames”, too. That way, the leaves separate visually from the background.
  4. Take the biggest circle from the Reverse Scalloped Circle Windows set and die cut it from an A2 sized piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock. Stamp down the sentiment below the circle. Use a pigment ink like Versafine for a really dark, black stamp impression.
  5. Adhere the card front to your watercolor background/card base with foam tape.
  6. Stamp, color and die cut the fox image from the “Jump For Joy” stamp set. For coloring, I used Copics and a white gel pen to give it a furry look.
  7. Lastly, adhere the fox with an Action Wobble spring. I like to go over the glue part with a bone folder to make sure it sticks down really well and won’t come off during all the wobbling fun! 😀

Thank you for joining me today! Have a great day and see you soon!
