Pretty Painted Prints of Flowers by Laurel Beard

Hi there,

Today Laurel Beard of Simply Cardmaking is sharing a beautiful floral creation! She made these  lovely flowers using the My Favorite Things Painted Paints stamp and die set and prettily arranged them in the vase. Now, the floral display is ready to send to your favorite person!

After you have soaked in all the creativity, techniques and tips here, be sure to pop over to her blog for tons more inspiration.

Hello Hello! I’m giddy to be back with the kind folks at The Foiled Fox today with this fun floral bouquet filled with bright colors. The Painted Prints stamp set is filled with adorable floral layering images with a hand-painted look that really brings your flowers to life! All the pictures of the images are printed on the plastic sheet and grouped together for easy layering.

I stamped the florals in bright colors using my favorite inks (linked below)and die cut them using the coordinating dies. I adhered some of the images flat and popped others up with some foam dimension. The Vase die works perfectly with this stamp set. So the vase wasn’t floating in the middle of nowhere, I grounded it with a piece of cute black/white washi tape. If you know me, you know I have to add sparkle somewhere, and since I stink at using glitter (it hates me), my trusty Wink of Stella Glitter pen came to the rescue. I added it to the floral centers and vase. The sentiment is from the Brushstroke Expressions stamp set.
