Pretty Stamp & Stitch Ornaments

Pretty Stamp & Stitch Ornaments

Hi Creative Friends,

Once again we are sharing a delightful card design by Dana Kirby, our master of cuteness! This time she is using the fun and festive Ornament Stamp and Stitch stamp and die set. This set makes bold and beautiful ornaments and Dana has even included a little stitching!

Hi friends! It’s Dana here today and I’m excited to be back sharing a card that uses the fun new Ornament Stamp & Stitch set from Concord & 9th.

I started my card by stamping my ornaments with the Ornament Stamp & Stitch stamp set. I used Poppy and Aqua Sky ink for my stamping. I then die-cut the ornaments with the Ornament Stamp & Stitch die set. Once the basic ornament shapes were cut I again used the Ornament dies to die-cut the stitched details. The die set includes dies that coordinate with the stamp sets to give you the option to stitch on your ornaments. This step is totally optional but I love the stitched detail! I used white embroidery floss for my stitching.

Next, I die cut the ornament toppers from gold cardstock and the top and bottom pieces (ornament on the left) with Poppy cardstock. I then attached the ornaments to a Midnight card panel that I die cut with the Pinwheel Quilt Top die. The stitched lines of the Pinwheel Quilt Top die give the panel a little added detail. I once again used the Ornament dies to die cut a few sprigs from Parsley and Sprout cardstock. I tucked the sprigs behind the ornaments and attached my panel to a Soft Stone card base to finish my card.

The Ornament Stamp & Stitch set has so many fun possibilities, everything can mix and match to give you so many options! I know you are going to love it!! I can’t wait to have some extra time to make some ornament shaped Christmas tags to tie onto our gifts!!

Enjoy your day,
Dana
