Hi Creative Friends,
How much fun can you have with the uber-cute Catman (yesterday’s post) and Pup-O-Lantern? Well, I had a blast!
I just love this cute pup and this card works up so fast!
The first step is to stamp the Pup-O-Lantern onto a white card stock panel. I used Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth paper and Memento Tuxedo Black ink since I was coloring with Copic markers.
Next was to get coloring. I used the following colors.
Dog: E21, YR24, CO, C2, W5, R01
Pumpkin: Y11, Y17, Y18, YR04, YR18, R29, YG03, YG95
Ground: C0, C2, W5
With the coloring done and using a stamp positioner, I stamped ‘BOO’ and ‘be spooktacular!’ from the Penny Black Halloween sentiments stamp set.
Next, I created a gray card stock frame by first cutting a slightly smaller A2 panel of Slate card stock, then cutting out the center using one of the dies from the Infinity Rectangles from Hero Arts. I mounted the frame on top of the Pup-O-Lantern panel, then added a foam backing.
All that was left was to make an A2 Candy Corn orange card stock card base and apply the Pup-O-Lantern with attached frame on top.
And there we have it… another cute Halloween card to brighten someone’s day.
Now it is your turn… give it a try! ♥
