Sending Sunny Vibes

Sending Sunny Vibes

Hi Everyone,

We are popping in to share a fun and cheery card design using one of My Favorite Things latest stamp set, Sunny Vibes. It features the cutest stamps for a summer beach theme. This adorable dog is getting his sandy spot all fixed up with his rainbow umbrella and pail.

This card design is a snap to make! All you need is a long card panel, a slightly larger Harvest Gold Bitty Big polka paper panel, a white card base, and a bunch of Copic markers.

So, to start, I stamped the beach dog with an umbrella and sun onto the white card stock panel with a Copic friendly ink like Extreme Hybrid (see supply list). With a smidge of post-it tape, I masked off a tiny area where the sand pail would sit, then stamped the pail. The tape was then peeled off, revealing only a portion of the pail – making it look like it was sitting into the sand.

Next, I colored the elements with Copic markers. Here is a list of the colors used:

Once the coloring was done, I mounted the front panel onto the slightly larger Harvest Gold Bitty Gold panel, then onto the white card base.

This stamp set has many cute sentiments. So… I stamped “Sending Sunny Vibes” onto black card stock with Versamark ink, then white heat embossed it. I trimmed it into a strip and attached it with double-stick tape.

For the final bit, I added teeny-weeny dots of clear stickles to the sand for a tiny bit of sparkle.

I hope you enjoyed this card design. I loved how it makes me smile!
