I am popping in to share another way you can use the lovely Blooms stamp set by Penny Black. You may remember that I shared a card design on Monday using this same stamp set (did you miss it, no worries, you can view it here). Like so many of Penny Black’s stamp sets, it is filled with sweet flowers to use for many occasions.

I am popping in to share an elegant card design that works for so many occasions. This one happened to be for my lovely daughter’s birthday. She loves clean, crisp lines so the Magnoila Blooms by Spellbinders was perfect.

You may think I am crazy but I am having a blast making cards with a gradient-colored background and a clear plastic (or acetate) panel over the top. If you saw my last post, then you know I used texture paste over the clear plastic panel for that card design. This time, I embossed the plastic panel using the Concord & 9th Triangle Background cover plate to give the clear sheet a little pizazz.
My only regret is that the camera doesn’t do it justice – ugh! But, if you need a simple card that has a twist, this card design might be just the thing!
