Hi Crafty Friends,
I love roses and I think this “Painted Rose” by Concord & 9th is one of the prettiest ones available. It is very versatile too. You can keep it a single rose or you can accompany it with other flowers for a bouquet.
For this card design, I decided to add a second flower called Hydrangea from Penny Black and the “Just A Note” die, also from Penny Black was used for the sentiment.

Concord & 9th’s has a fabulous new floral stamp set, Fine Line Florals. In the stamp set are a gorgeous cluster of flowers and individual flowers and leaves with detailed lines. Each of these flower stamps is beautiful alone so I used all of them in this card design.

The name of the die from Penny Black is “Cherry Blossom Creative Die” but I ignored the title and used it to make a sweet bunch of flowers.

We are pleased as punch to be sharing this birthday card using the new My Favorite Things Big Birthday and Stitched Blooms dies. The bold flowers in the Stitched Blooms die set are sooo easy to color and make a big impact.

Heather Telford is our guest today and she brought with her a magnificent Pink Poppies card. The colors and the softness she achieves is nothing short of gorgeous!
She is using the Spontaneous Joy stamp by Penny Black and she makes it simply glorious by using distress stains and her own special brand of magic! (Check out more of that magic on her blog!)
Oh, and just a note about the distress stains. Many of you know, the distress stains with the dauber top have been discontinued. In its place is the distress spray stain with a spray/mister top – it is the same formula. We bought up all the remaining stock of the dauber topwe could so most colors are still in stock so grab them while you can. As a color depletes, we will restock it in the spray version.
