Last week I shared a loosely watercolored card design using the new Penny Black stamp, How Sweet. I think the little birdies with a flower in this stamp set are so sweet I had to create another version. This one has a striking black background, then was painted with Coliro Finetec metallic paint.

I have been craving making floral cards lately and I can’t think of a more perfect place to find beautiful floral stamps than Penny Black. The stamp I used for this project was Sweet Centerpiece and it features a glorious mixed bouquet of flowers.

We have just received a wonderful shipment from a new company, Simply Graphic. We will be featuring many new things from them but for this project, I chose a simple stamp postage cancellation stamp set from them. I am always a push-over for anything postage or mail-related so you will understand why I chose this stamp set to accompany the awesome Penny Black Vintage Postcard stamp. To decorate the postcard, I used another great stamp from Penny Black, Painter’s Vase.

I am sharing an elegant card design featuring the lovely Flower Flourish die by Penny Black, one of my favs, a lattice background from Concord & 9th, and a gorgeous ‘label’ for the sentiment from Alexandra Renke. The die from Penny Black offers a delightful spray of flowers with a few juniper sprigs tucked in here and there.
