Hi Crafty Friends,
Here was are again with a fabulously cute card design by Rosali of I Love Stamping (IG: ilovestamping). Rosali has taken the Picture Picture stamp set by My Favorite Things and made a retro, but oh so adorable, black and white photo card design. Check out the details below.
Then, to add to the summer fun, Rosali and The Foiled Fox is hosting a Gift Certificate GIVEAWAY for two lucky readers. All you have to do is comment and/or follow us on Instagram. Each entry, comment or follow, will increase your chances of winning – YAY!
It’s been too long since I made and posted a card with a #birdiebrown stamp set and today is gonna change that! Yay!! I made a pair of cards for @foiledfox using @mftstamps’ “Picture Perfect” and this is the first one! It features quick grey coloring, pastel rainbow foliage, kraft paper, and rounded edges.
To create the ‘portrait’ all that is needed is to stamp the critter image onto white card stock with black Copic friendly ink and then use either the warm gray Copic markers (W1, W2, W3) to shade the critters.
Next, die-cut a polaroid frame from black card stock using the Polaroid Shaker Frame die and heat emboss the adorable sentiment included in the stamp set, “Congratulate Yourselfie” with white embossing powder.
Then, while I was in the die-cutting mood, I cut a few of my favorite pastel card stock colors using the Fab Foliage die set.
Now, all that is needed is a quick assembly. Using a kraft card stock card base with the corners rounded with a chomper or rounding punch, I arranged and adhered the foliage on top. Then, added a strip of splattered colors for trim and mount the ‘selfie’. Finally, to make the eyes pop a little more, I added a tiny drop of Glossy Accents.
Here it is all done! I hope you liked it!
