Zesty Lemon Basket

Zesty Lemon Basket

Hi Creative Friends,

We are sharing an adorable card design by our dear friend and uber-talented Dana Kirby. This card is as fun and fresh as can be!

Too, Dana is helping us announce our next summer sale extravaganza. This week it is 15% off everything Lawn Fawn in our shop. The discount code is 15LF722. All the details are at the bottom of this post.

Hi friends! It’s Dana here today sharing a card that uses the Zesty Lemon dies from Lawn Fawn. Although I made a birthday card I love how these dies can be used for so many different occasions.

I started my card by using the Zesty Lemon dies to die cut all of my lemons, leaves and flowers. I ink blended the pieces with Distress Oxide ink in Mustard Seed, Squeezed Lemonade, Mowed Lawn and Saltwater Taffy. Next, I used the Fruit Basket die to create the basket to hold the lemons. I set the pieces aside and used a strip of patterned paper from the Gingham paper pack and Salvaged Patina ink to create my card panel. Once my panel was finished I used liquid glue to add the lemons and basket to my panel.

To finish my card I used the How You Bean? Star Add On set for my sentiment.  Lastly, I used the small bee from the Berry Special set to finish my card. I think the bees add a fun little detail to my card. Although my card combined a few different sets, it came together rather quickly. I know I will be using these lemons again, I can’t wait to combine them with the Strawberry Patch dies.

Thanks for joining me today and I hope to be back soon to share another project with you all.

Enjoy your day,

Dana
