Deck The Halls (twice) with Heather Telford
Hi there,
Heather Telford is visiting today and sharing not one, but two card designs and color schemes. She has an eye for the beautiful and knows just how to make it happen!
In today’s card designs, she is using the Concord & 9th Deck The Halls turnabout stamp set. This turnabout stamp gives you the opportunity to use four coordinating colors to create a stunning background. Take a look at how she uses the inks to change the look of each card, then accenting each one with a different sentiment.
After feasting your eyes on these beauties, pop over to her blog for tons more inspiration! You will be wowed by her creativity and ingenuity!

I worked on hot pressed watercolor paper as I was undecided about adding some blended color. I didn’t end up doing that so I would actually recommend using Neenah cream cardstock for these cards. For the traditionally colored card, I started by stamping the turnabout stamp in Versamark then embossed in gold powder. I did the embossed color first so I would not have to worry about embossing powder sticking to other colors of ink. I turned my panel 90 degrees and stamped in shady lane Versafine Clair, turned again then stamped rainforest Versafine Clair and turned once more, then stamped in glamorous Versafine Clair ink. Once you’ve stamped four times with this turnabout stamp the panel is full of Christmas motifs.
