The Red, White, and Blue
Hi everyone!
JB here with you today IG (inkblissbyjb). I’m happy to share with you an A2-size card featuring the “Freedom in Bloom” stamp set & “So Radiant Stencil Collection” from Papertrey Inc. This makes a great Patriotic card, which is just around the corner!

I started with Bristol smooth cardstock to use 2 out of 3 stencils and ink blended with Distress Ink Blueprint Sketch and Distress Ink Lumberjack Plaid. I then used Spellbinders “Heartfelt Thanks & Scallops” dies, using the largest scallop die to cut the panel.s
Moving onto the flag, I first used embossing anti-static powder, and I stamped with Gina K white pigment and used detail fine white embossing powder. My first thought was to watercolor with distress crayons, but I decided to ink blend with the same colors. Wiping off the excess ink with a paper towel. Using the die set, I cut out the flag.

I cut out flowers with Bristol smooth cardstock from “Build a Teapot” collection dies and ink blended with the same Distress inks. I chose the sentiment from the set of 3 and inked it with Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink, then cut it with the coordinating die.
I cut a bit larger panel in red for layering and assembled it all together on blue cardstock. Some of the flowers are raised with foam squares along with the flag and sentiment.

I hope you enjoy my card and wish you all a safe and fun 4th of July!
Happy Crafting!
JB
