Hi Crafty Friends,
I am back with a few techniques to add to your bag of tricks that add pizzaz to your card designs. To start, I am using one of my very favorite stamp sets, Bloominous by The Stamp Market. This stamp set is so versatile and creates clean, simple and modern looks to your designs.

To add to the video, I have included a few close-ups. The first is the ‘Hey” card. It was created by stamping the main leaf stamp in the set and then stamping the same stamp two more times in different positions. Flowers from the set were then added. All of these elements were then heat embossed with Copper embossing powder by Hero Arts.
Extra detail was added to the leaves by ‘stamping’ dots on the leaves using a mini cotton swab. These swabs are a very useful tool and make it easy to apply dots of Versamark ink, then heat emboss them with Hero Arts Gold embossing powder.
The flowers and partial leaves were colored with Copic markers. For the flowers, the markers: R000, R01 and R20 were used. The leaves were colored with E00 and E21.
After all the detail on the leaves were heat embossed, the “Hey” sentiment was added by first placing the “Hey” in a stamping platform, inking it with Versamark ink and heat embossing it with the same copper embossing powder.
The panel was then mounted on a slightly larger card base made from Pale Rose card stock. The panel was applied a little offset from the center.
The second card was created in the same way as the first, only this time it was stamped vertically onto hot pressed watercolor paper with Versamark ink. It was then sprinkled with Hero Arts gold embossing powder and heat embossed.
Dots were added to the leaves in the same way as the first card and the flowers and leaves were painted with watercolor paints.
After all the painting was done and dry, the floral panel was mounted onto a piece of “Pool” card, then onto a card stock base made from one of my very favorite textured papers, Luxe White.
And there we have it, two cards ready for your lucky recipient. ♥
