Hi Crafty Friends,
Today is all about penguins… those cute, adorable little tuxedo-dressed, waddling birds. These are from the new My Favorite Things stamp set, Sweet Holiday Penguins. I have created a trio of cards with three different color schemes for you to ponder.
Check out the video below for all the ins and outs of how to make it be! Then, we would be over-the-moon if you would subscribe to our YouTube channel! Thanks a bunch!

In the close-up below you can see the blue ombre background and how using one of the negative space cut-outs from the Penny Black Ribbon Stacker dies was used to create a snowy frame. Nuvo Moonstone glimmer paste and a little chunky glitter were spread on for a glittery, snowy look.
Here is a good look of the detail of the penguin coloring plus a guide to the Copic markers used.
Check out the close-up view of the snowy frame, sentiment and penguins. The stars were embossed with Mermaid Tail embossing powder. On the other two cards, I used a less sparkly embossing powder so the stars are more distinct – I think I prefer that, what about you?
Check out the three cards together. The color scheme for the background of the Pinkish-Purple one is Seedless Preserves, Worn Lipstick, Abandoned Coral distress inks with a little Squeezed Lemonade distress ink blended over top to soften the colors.
The green card background was created with Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron and Evergreen Bough distress inks.
Then, finally the blue background was inked with Tumbled Glass, Broken China and Faded Jeans distress inks.
I hope you enjoyed the video. If you did, please give us a thumbs up and subscribe if you haven’t already. Thanks! See you next time! ♥
Oh, So ADORABLE! It is fun to have 3 different backgrounds and I love watching you create these cards, it inspires me to get going on my holiday cards even more. THANK YOU! so much for the video.
Shauna these three cards are wonderful, I love the new penguin from MFT as Stacey just draws them to perfection. I love the design of the cards as well and how you have used that frame die cut and the amazing backgrounds. All again just perfect.
Yes, Stacey is quite the artist. We just love her critters!
