Enjoy Sunshine & Friendship With These Critter Friends

Hi Crafty Friends,

I am super excited to share an adorable interactive card design by Rosali, from the I Love Stamping blog (IG: @ilovestamping). Rosali ALWAYS makes the cutest cards! This one features the critters from the Sunshine & Friendship stamp and die set by My Favorite Things.

Rosali started this card with a white card base and a single white card panel for the front. Using the panel, a blender brush and a few distress inks, Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feather, Cracked Pistachio to be exact and of course, the Hills stencil by My Favorite Things, she created simple, but very effective (and cute) waves with the stencil.

Next, it was time to stamp the critters and ball onto Neenah white card stock with Copic friendly ink (for ink suggestions see the supply list below) and color them with Copic markers. Oh, and while she was stamping, she stamped one of the cute sentiments in the stamp set onto the panel.

To finish getting all the pieces ready for assembly, Rosali added stitch lines around the front panel, using Lawn Fawn’s Large Stitched Rectangles, cut the slot for the ball to move using Lawn Fawn’s Slide On Over Semicircles and cut out the critters with the coordinating Sunshine & Friendship die set.

It was time to make this card come together! So, by adding a slider disc to the back of the ball, fitting it in the slot and then adhering a small circle on the back of the disc, the ball was now in motion – YAY!

The last step was to add foam tape to the back of the card front, making sure to avoid the sliding part, secure it to the card base, then place the critters with a bit of foam tape. For an extra accent, a few splatters of black ink were added around the critters.

And, there we have it… another AWESOME card by Rosali
