Making Spirits Bright

Making Spirits Bright

Hi, our creative friends,

We are super excited to invite a new guest to our blog. Her name is Amy Tsuruta. You may have seen her on her own blog, craftee1.com, or Instagram @craftee1.

If you are familiar with Amy, you know she has oodles of fun making delightful cards. She also hosts and participates in lots of challenges on social media and her blog. This makes it extra fun to follow all her goings-on!

Today Amy is sharing a super cute card design featuring a few new Penny Black goodies. These stamps feature adorable critters to make the season just that more festive!

Hi Foiled Fox Friends!  It’s Amy Tsuruta and I’m excited to be guesting for Foiled Fox today.  Have you seen the adorable Penny Black – Bright Spirits set?

For this project, I stamped the image on watercolor paper and colored it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers along and used the blender marker. I love the subtle texture of watercolor paper, don’t you?

Although this design has many layers, it is still postal-friendly.  I used the watercolor paper with the Filigree embossing folder. It has been layered on top of an A2 kraft panel.  I stamped the sentiment on a trimmed portion of the circle to mask off the bottom of the stamped image.

Do you spy the Berry Basket?  I clipped it apart to add some fun detail to the design.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
