Pick of the Patch

Pick of the Patch

Hi Creative Friends,

Dana Kirby (IG: @dkirbystamps) is sharing an absolutely adorable Fall card design with us today. It features the super cute Lovely Layers: Scarecrow die set and other Fall goodies from the brand new release by Honey Bee Stamps. Take a look.

Hi friends! It’s Dana here today and I am back with a fall card that uses a few things from the latest release at Honey Bee Stamps.

I started my card by creating my card panel with Distress Oxide ink in Mowed Lawn and Stormy Sky and a little Faded Jeans ink. I ink blended the panel with a blending brush and added a few splatters with the ink along with some water for a little added detail.

Next, I used the Pumpkin Patch stamp set to stamp my pumpkins and fall foliage with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copics markers and used the Pumpkin Patch dies to cut them out. Here are the Copic markers I used:

I then created my scarecrow with the Lovely Layers: Scarecrow die set and Papertrey Ink cardstock. (Harvest Gold, Canyon Clay, Enchanted Evening, Dark Indigo, Cocoa Bean, Ripe Avocado, Spring Moss, Smokey Shadow, Weathervane, True Black and a small scrap of plaid patterned paper I had in my stash) The little scarecrow was so fun to create and I love all of the design possibilities, just too cute!

For my sentiment I used the Mini Messages: Fall Sentiment stamp set. I stamped my sentiment with VersaMark ink and heat set it with white embossing powder. I then attached my images and sentiment with foam adhesive. Lastly, I used a white gel pen for some added detail to the images.

Thanks for joining me today and I hope I inspired you to use these fun new products from Honey Bee Stamps to create a fall card of your own.

Enjoy your day,

Dana
