Grateful For You – a beautiful maple leaf

Hi Everyone,

I always look forward to this time of the year where there is a burst of Fall leaves. Concord & 9th has the perfect one with their gorgeous die set: Thankful Leaves. It creates a fabulous leaf and the gracious Grateful sentiment is from the same release. I know I will be using these dies over and over again.

Celebrate The Season – Another Autumn Card

Today is another card to celebrate Autumn. I have been enjoying making cards with an Autumn theme so much lately that I thought I should keep going while I still have Mojo!

I don’t know if you are like me but sometimes I struggle with inspiration but the Fall and Winter are my favorite times of the year so ideas and inspiration aren’t as hard to come by during these seasons.

Golden Leaves by Heather Telford

Happy Thanksgiving to all our Canadian friends,
Whether you celebrate Thanksgiving in Canada (today) or in the U.S. (in November), it is a wonderful day to spend with family and friends.  And for all those that you can’t be with on that momentous day, it is a great time to send a special card to let them know you are thinking of them.

The card we are presenting today is done by the extremely talented, Heather Telford of Bits and Pieces blog (www.cards.heathertelford.com).  Heather is renowned for exquisite watercolor projects and this Thanksgiving card is no exception.  She has created a vision of beauty using the Penny Black Grateful Stamp Set and Peerless Watercolors.  She has even created a video on how she created her watercolor paletted and used her Peerless Watercolors.  It is simply brilliant.  Be sure you don’t miss it.  It is featured after her card below.

Ready to Jump for Joy?

Hi Friends,

Today is a red-letter day for all of us at Foiled Fox!  Laurel Beard and the kind peeps at Lawnscaping Challenge are featuring many of our projects today on their blog. Be sure to go and check it out.  If you haven’t already, subscribe to their newsletter.  You can also have some fun and participate in some of their challenges.  Their blog is always bursting with creative ideas and projects by some very talented folk.

In the meantime, here is a close-up of one of the cards.  Since Fall is nearly upon us who else is better to usher in Autumn than the cuddly forest Lawn Fawn squirrel from the Jump For Joy stamp set.  This adorable squirrel was just achin’ to jump into that big pile of leaves so I had to make it happen.   You just need to move the clear acetate lever at the bottom of the card so Mr. Squirrel gets his wish.

I Love Fall Most of All

Hello Everyone,

Well, Autumn is fast approaching and what better way to get ready then to use the new Concord & 9th Give Thanks stamp set with coordinating Layering Leaves die set.

I have two cards for you today that are loads of fun and make up really fast.  The first is using the Layering Leaves dies and the sentiments from the Give Thanks stamps.
