We have another video for you featuring a trio of cards, each made using the Alexandra Renke Magic Flower dies and the Accentuation Circles stamp set, plus a bit of watercolor and inspirational sentiments from the Just Believe stamp set by Penny Black. In the video, you’ll notice that the blue card is demonstrated but you can view a few close-ups of each color scheme below.
Starting with the blue design, it is created by first masking off a center section of a hot-pressed watercolor panel, then stamping a circle pattern using the stamps in the Accentuation Circles stamp set by Alexandra Renke, and embossing it with white embossing powder. The masked section is then watercolored using the Aquamarine and Sapphire watercolors by Pinkfresh Studio. A trio of flowers is then cut using the Alexandra Renke Magic Flower dies, 1 and 3 and splattered with color using the same watercolors as before.
My favorite part is creating a clear background sentiment. This is done by stamping a sentiment onto a piece of clear plastic (not acetate), then heat embossed with Gunmetal embossing powder by Ranger. Here is a close-up.
Next is the yellow version of this design. It is created the same way but I didn’t stamp any circles on the background and the masked off center is smaller and offset. I used two Dr. Ph. Martin Hydrus watercolors, Quinacridone Magenta and Hansa Yellow Light. I splattered the paint in the same way as in the blue card.
The sentiment is from the same Just Believe stamp set by Penny Black as the blue card design. It is created the same way, only it is heat embossed with Ranger gold embossing powder.
The final card is created with all the same techniques as the blue card, including stamping with a few different stamps from the same Accentuation Circle stamp set and heat embossing it with white embossing powder. The masked off center section is then colored with two colors, gray and purple, from the Altenew watercolor set. As you can see, you can use any watercolors you have on hand to color the panel.
This sentiment is another from the Just Believe stamp set by Penny Black and it is heat embossed with Rose Gold embossing powder by Ranger.
