Hi Crafty Friends,
Just in time for summer birthdays or 4th of July, we made a trio of cards using the new Fireworks die by My Favorite Things. This technique is a nifty way to extend the use of your cutting dies.
Take a look below at the video on how we got it done!
This fireworks die by My Favorite Things is from their latest release. It makes a spectacular burst of color. Here is the video of all the ins and outs of creating these cards.
Here are a few close-ups of the three different cards, starting with the Candy Necklace and Robins Egg background papers. There are bits of sparkle on the paper that unfortunately show up as dark spots in the photo but in real life, they are just shimmery glitter.
The “YOU” sentiment is from the All About You dies by Concord & 9th and the “Happy Birthday to” is from My Favorite Things ‘All About You’ sentiment set.
The next card, is using the Whirlypop heavy cardstock and the Penny Black … Birthday Die.
Finally, this is the close-up of the card demonstrated in the video. It is using Black Licorice heavy cardstock, along with Peppermint Red heavy cardstock.
Thanks for joining us today. Visit us again soon ♥
