Woohoo! We are sharing another one of Rosali of I Love Stamping and @ilovestamping (IG) delightful card designs. She used an adorable stamp set by My Favorite Things, called Magical Friends. She was very clever and made a slimline card style into a cute little storybook. Let’s take a look!

For this card, Rosali created a little story of a sweet dragon and his little friend. The “Magical Friends” set has all these great Fairytale sentiments in it and book-reading images as well!
So she stamped three different little scenes using her Versafine onyx black ink and an assortment of stamps from the set. Each ‘scene’ was stamped onto square panels made with Lawn Fawn’s Stitched Squares and Bristol paper. She then colored them with Winsor & Newton watercolor markers.
When the coloring was done, Rosali added a little extra pizazz, by using her white and black gel pens. The black to darken the eyes and the white to add little accents here and there. She even added a little crown on the storybook using her micron pens!
With the panels complete, it was time to assemble. Square white card stock panels slightly larger than the storybook ones were cut and mounted to the back of each colored panel. Foam tape was added to the back and then positioned and adhered to a long, slimline card base from Pool card stock.
And there we have it. A charming and whimsical card ready for some lucky recipient!♥
