Hi Everyone,
We have another video for you, This one demonstrates a card design using the beautiful From The Garden stamp and die set by Papertrey Ink. The design shows off the big carnation blossoms with elegant long stems.

This card design uses From The Garden stamp and dies set, along with three basic colors of ink: Pale Peony, Berry Sorbet, and Pure Poppy. The flowers were stamped onto hot-pressed watercolor paper. This will ensure the inks will blend nicely. The stems were stamped with New Leaf and Pinefeather.
Once the flowers were done, I started on the background. The card front panel was ink blended with Pale Peony and Berry Sorbet, then stamped using the same inks and the Thick and Thin background stamp from My Favorite Things (see supply list below). I hope you can take a minute to view the video. In it, you will see just how the ombre effect was created with the ink and lines.
A new favorite of mine is the Perfect Pairs: Essentials stamp and die set. It boasts of a whole host of big and bold scripty sentiments, along with some supporting words. For this card, I used the happy birthday since birthday card are always a hot commodity around here!
