Winter Greetings by JB

Hi Crafty Friends,

JB (IG: @inkblissbyjb) is our guest today and she is sharing a delightful holiday card design. She used a few new goodies from Pretty Pink Posh to create this winter wonderland!

Hi Everyone! I’m happy to be here today with Foiled Fox to share a card I made with Build a Wreath dies, Cascading Snowflakes Stencil, and Winter Greetings stamp and die set all from Pink Pink Posh’s latest Christmas release.

My background was made using the Stencil stamping technique—another great way to use and stretch your stencils! Using Ranger distress watercolor cardstock, I spritzed lost shadow spray stain onto the stencil, flipped it over onto the cardstock, pressed it with a paper towel, and let it completely dry.

I ink-blended the cuts from Bristol smooth cardstock using:
*Tumbled Glass oxide
*Broken China
*Uncharted Mariner

I die-cut the fern sprigs from Gina K’s fresh asparagus cardstock and silver glittery cardstock. Ink blended the berries and bow with Uncharted Mariner and highlighted with a #10 white gel pen.

I also spritz the berries and tumble glass leaves with sheer shimmer spritz to give some sparkle.

After assembling the wreath, I splattered it with Dr. PH Martins’s proof white with a small amount of water.  I added to the snowflake background and added my sentiment with white embossing on black cardstock.

I hope you enjoyed my card!  Head over to @foiledfox on Instagram for more wonderful inspirational ideas! You can also find me on Instagram too at @inkblissbyjb

Have a wonderful day and Happy Crafting!

JB
