Hi Creative Friends,
Dana Kirby (IG: @dkirbystamps) is with us today and is sharing a stunning holiday card featuring a beautiful ornament as the main focal point. This card design was created using the ever-popular Ornament Inlay die set by Concord & 9th.
Hi friends! It’s Dana here today and I am sharing a card that uses the beautiful Ornament Inlay Die from Concord & 9th.
I started my card by running the Ornament Inlay Die through my die-cutting machine with Concord & 9th cardstock in Midnight, Cranberry, Lemongrass, Avocado, Nectar, and Gold. I then used liquid glue and inlaid the pieces back into the Midnight card panel. I find dies like this very relaxing to use, and since I had die-cut the pieces from a variety of colors it’s easy to assemble a bunch of different card panels at once.
Once my panel was finished, I attached it to an A2 card base. Next, I used the Classic Holiday Greetings Dies for my sentiment. I die-cut the top layer from Cranberry cardstock and the backer from Gold cardstock. Lastly, I attached the sentiment to my card with foam adhesive to finish my card. It was so fun and easy to create! I hope I inspired you to give this gorgeous die a try!!
Thanks for joining me today and I hope you enjoyed my card. I will be back soon to share another project with you all.
Enjoy your day,
Dana
