We are delighted to share a super cute card design by Dana Kirby (IG: @dkirbystamps). She is using a few brand new additions to the summer collection by Honey Bee Stamps. The Lovely Layers: Beach Bound and Lovely Layers: Hammock are awesome and so is Dana’s project!
Hi crafty friends! It’s Dana here today and I am back with a fun summer themed card to share with you all. The latest release from Honey Bee Stamps is packed full of so many amazing new sets, perfect for all of you summertime crafting!! I fell in love with the Lovely Layers: Beach Bound die set and couldn’t wait to use it to make a card.
I started my card by making my VW van/bus with the Lovely Layers: Beach Bound die set. I used Concord & 9th cardstock in: Sweet Pea, Aqua Sky, Dover, White, Buttercup and Clementine. Once I die cut the pieces I used Art Glitter Glue to glue my pieces together and then set my bus aside. Next, I used the Lover Layers: Hammock dies to create my palm tree. This is a fun set that includes two palm trees plus an adorable hammock… I can’t wait to use it next! I die cut the pieces from C & 9th cardstock in: Wheat, Parsley and Sprout.
For my card panel, I ink blended Aqua Sky ink at the top to create the sky. I added a few splatters with the Aqua Sky reinker. Then I used Wheat ink and reinker to create the ground. Once my panel was finished I attached my bus and palm tree to my panel with foam adhesive. Lastly, I used the Sunkissed Summer stamp and die set to stamp my sentiment.
