Hi there,
Ruri here, I wanted to quickly jump in and share a three Christmas tags before the holiday disappears for another year. The tags are from 3 separate stamp sets. I wanted a chance to use these stamp sets before it was too late. Take a look and let me know if you have a favorite.
Starting with the tag with the little car trudging up the snow-covered hill with presents in tow, this tag is made from the Home of the Holidays stamp set by Lawn Fawn. The tag base was cut from green cardstock, using Poppystamps Stitched Main Street Tag die set. Since I used the “O Christmas Tree” stamp set in one of the other tags, I borrowed the round stamp from there and stamped random green polka dots using the Pine Needle distress ink onto the tag base.
To make the snowy hill, I cut another tag from Ranger glossy card stock and cut out a hill shape and glued it to the green polka dotted tag. By doing it this way, all the stitching on the edge of the tag and snowy hill matches up. The greeting was stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed using WOW! Primary Red embossing powder.
The car and presents were stamped on white cardstock with our favorite Copic friendly ink, Memento Tuxedo Black. The tree was stamped using Versamark ink and heat embossed with a mix of WOW! Evergreen and Mint Mojito embossing powders – this powder is so sparkly and pretty!. The car and presents were then colored with Copic markers. You can see all the colors I used in the Copic Marker key (legend) below.
The tag is nearly finished. Just a few quick steps left. The car, tree and presents were cut out. The tree was mounted to the top of the car, foam tape was added to the back of the car and presents with a string attached to make sure the presents come along. Finally, a little twine from Avery Elle was added to the hole cut-out at the top.

Next up is the Merry Christmas tag with the adorable fawn and bells from the Avery Elle Kitch stamp set. Again, using the same tag die set from Poppystamps, I cut a large tag from Neenah Cream card stock. The stamp set has a wonderful garland stamp. This garland stamp was used to make the garland swags. Using Memento’s Bamboo Leaves and Tim Holtz Pine Needle distress ink, I randomly interchanged the ink colors as I stamped the swag. After it was all stamped, I added a little sparkle with the Gilded Gold Stickles and red berries with Ranger’s Liquid Pearl Ruby Red.
The bells and fawn were stamped onto Neenah Solar White card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black. then colored with Copic markers and just like the other tag, the colors are listed below. After everything was colored, I cut them out and mounted them directly onto the tag. To finish, I added the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink and the stars were stamped with the beautiful Delicata Gold ink.

The final tag is especially nice for a man’s gift. The beautiful trees in the “O Christmas Tree” stamp set by Concord & 9th really give a serene foresty feel. This tag was an easy one to make. I started by stamping the trees in the background with Memento’s Bamboo Leaves ink ink. The foreground trees were stamped with Pine Needles distress ink.
Then, using Lawn Fawn Yeti white ink, I very lightly over stamped the trees again to give a snowy effect and at the same time stamped a few snowflakes and the sentiment. For a touch of sparkle, I added tiny dots of gilded gold and disco ball stickles on the trees.
