WooHoo! Rosali @ilovestamping (Instagram) is treating us today to an adorable project that is super easy and packed with cuteness and style! She is using the Cozy Cuddles Penguin stamp set by Flora and Fauna.
Rosali has a fantastic ‘eye’ for composition and fun, so take a look at what she has done, then be sure to catch her mini bio at the end. Oh, and don’t forget to head over to her @ilovestamping Instagram account for more inspiration!
Hey there, Rosali here and I am very happy to be guesting on The Foiled Fox blog again!
Christmas is getting closer quickly and for all of you who like to make their own Christmas cards now is the time to do so. If you need to make several cards but don’t have hours to put into each card then today’s project is perfect for you!
TWO CARDS PIC
This is what you need to make Christmas cards like that:
- Flora & Fauna’s Cozy Cuddles Penguin Stamp Set (isn’t it adorable?!)
- a few colored ink pads (green, yellow, grey and black in my case)
- light pink Copic for the cheeks (I chose YR00)
- a sentiment die (mine is Flora & Fauna’s Joyful die)
- a banner die (mine is from Lawn Fawn and has the perfect size for my design)
- some colored cardstock (I used dark red and gold foil)
- and lastly: clear embossing powder for the critter, foam tape for the banner and Nuvo Drops as an embellishment (to make it an even quicker project you can skip those if you want to but I really like what they add to a card)
You will also find links to all products that I have used down below!
Once you have gathered all supplies you start by simply stamping the background on all cards-with trees, stars and mountains from the Flora & Fauna set. I arranged them in sort of a half circle. Then I fussy cut the critters and since I really like the black and white look of them I just added a little color to the cheeks. After foam mounting critters, banners and gluing the sentiments on top, the cards are almost finished. If you already know me you know I am addicted to Nuvo Drops so I couldn’t help but add a few white ones! ☺ Lastly, I decided to round two corners of each card for some interest in the bottom half of the cards! Et voilà!
Thanks for spending some time with me today! ♥
