Hi Crafty Friends,
It is summer and usually many of us are off to sandy beaches, but this year, with our schedules curtailed, I thought I would bring you a tropical garden with all these beautiful Flourishing Floral blossoms by Papertrey Ink, an Ink To Paper collection.
The flower stamps in this set are extra beautiful, along with the other wonderful stamps included in this collection. Check out this video I made for Papertrey on how you can make your own tropical paradise.
The Nifty Plaid stamp creates a great background for this card. It is stamped with Weathervane ink (see supply list below). The bright flowers are stamped with Lovely Lady, Raspberry Fizz, Summer Sunrise, and Bright Buttercup.
The leaves are stamped with a combination of New Leaf, Spring Moss, and Ripe Avocado. The video will show you how you can easily blend them.
A few colored layers were added, then the top panel. The flowers were adhered to the top with foam tape. Next, a sentiment was added by stamping ‘You’re amazing’ from the Just Sentiments: Tagged stamp set onto a white cardstock strip, then pressed in place. The last step was to add a few black sparklies in the center of each flower by squeezing a few Black Diamond stickles dots in the center. ♥
