Hi Crafty Friends,
Today’s feature is the gorgeous new stamp and die set from Papertrey Ink, an Ink To Paper collection called Flourishing Florals. It features the beautiful Plumeria flowers of Hawaii. It just makes you dream of being on the beach, sipping a cool beverage, and smelling the sweetness of the plumeria flower.
There are so many wonderful new stamps and dies in this latest release. It was a real pleasure to include a few of them in this project. Here is the video to take you from start to finish, including making a custom lining for the matching envelope!

These beautiful flowers were stamped onto watercolor paper using a collection of inks from Papertrey Ink: Lovely Lady, Summer Sunrise, Bright Buttercup, Raspberry Fizz, and a touch of Smokey Shadow for the center. Oh yes, I can’t forget the Pure Poppy for the center of the large flower.
The leaves were stamped with a combination of New Leaf, Green Parakeet, Aqua Mist, and Hawaiian Shores for the veining.
I used lots of layers for this card design to give it interest and depth. Then used the Hawaiian Shores Bitty Big large plaid as the backdrop, then added more layers of New Leaf card stock and a white panel cut out with the new and awesome Postage Frames.
The card finished up a small leaf background as a backdrop for the flowers. Then, to complete the picture, a matching lined envelope was created. You can see it all in the video!
