Duo of Lovely Circlet of Flower Cards

Duo of Lovely Circlet of Flower Cards

Hi My Crafty Friends,

We have a new project to share that creates a lovely circlet of flowers.  This versatile card was made using the Penny Black Floral Arrangement die. Check out the video and close-ups below for all the steps to make your own.

Below is the YouTube video. We hope you enjoy it!

The circlet of flowers is created by using the Penny Black Floral Arrangement die. It can be colored by any medium you prefer. In these examples, the light one was watercolored with distress stains, where the dark version was colored with Copic markers. Other than that, the process was exactly the same.

You can get a closer look with the images below of each card.

After the flowers were watercolored and placed on the front panel, dots of white ink were added to the background, along with black sparkle dots to the center of the flowers.

In the dark version below, Watercolor Frames stamp from Altenew was stamped onto navy cardstock and the flowers were colored with Copic markers.

Here are a few more close-ups. You can see that the Copic colored flowers are a little more intense making the darker background a good match to the markers.

I hope you enjoyed the video and the close-ups. It was a wonderful project to do… I hope you give it a try

Goodies Used In Video:

(btw, the supply list is nearly the same for the dark version, just substitute the gray and pink paper for Blueberry Sour and Antique Gold. The flowers were colored with Copic markers.)
